Hi! The sky and weather have been amazing today. Spring is coming, which means it's time to revamp the spring clothes. Err, so maybe this is a year round sweatshirt for me, but...anyway.
I've had this sweatshirt since a thrift store run with housemates in college. It started out a pale yellow. That was the first thing to go...Lindsay was dyeing some clothes and had a little extra space, so in it went. Now it's a light nutty color.
Then it got some kinda gross stains on the front, and started to look a little scrubby, so I ironed on this nice 'C' that I found in a thrift store in highschool. Everyone thinks the 'C' is really meaningful and must have some meaning, but it's just a bid to distract from the dreariness of a much beloved sweatshirt.
Then the stainage got worse on the front, and in a last ditch effort to save the beloved thing, I sewed a giant, leaning, tree on the front. Big distractions for big stains!
But recently the sleeves have gotten just completely out of control:

I tend to be a slobby girl, but even I have my limits. For a while I stuck it in the back of my closet, but I missed my sweatshirt. It's just the only one like it!
Then a few days ago I was rootin' and tootin' in some of my crafty boxes, and out popped a long lost treasure--ready to sew knitted cuffs! In just the right color to match my tree! The craft planets were alighned.
So here it is, once again new and improved!
